This special 2-week program is exclusively designed for people over the age of 50! At KAI, we believe that learning Japanese will provide you with experiences that you would not have been otherwise exposed to on a simple sight-seeing tour. Not only will this program be enriching, educational, and enjoyable, but it will also be unforgettable!
Students will join our Practical Japanese Conversation Course. They will be in 15 lessons in the first week from Monday to Friday and 12 lessons in the second week from Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 11:50 AM.
Activities
KAI will organize 10 specially designed activities during the course. Some local Japanese volunteers will join us in some of our activities. Please see the chart below for more details!
More Information
The program also includes 6 lunches and 6 dinners with the teachers. In addition, each student receives an IC card “Suica” worth 3,000 JPY, which can be used for transportation and shopping at various stores.
Options
Accommodations such as a single room at a convenient hotel within a 5-minute walk from the school to luxury lodging can be arranged upon a request for an additional fee. An optional 2-day Kyoto tour can be arranged as well. It is 50,000 JPY per person and the minimum is three people.
