Grammar & Conversation courses are offered for students to take in July or August, or both. At the end of the course, the students receive a certificate of attendance as well as a portfolio organizing what they have learned during the course.

Grammar & Conversation

This course is designed to steadfastly improve your conversational skills in an enjoyable atmosphere. A variety of conversational exercises are given in each class. A free talk session with Japanese guests is held on the last day of the course. The first 3 periods out of 4 in a day focus on conversation while the 4th period is for reading and writing.

JLPT Preparation Course

The lessons cover all the subject areas of the JLPT: vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension and listening comprehension; with major emphasis placed on reading, a critical component of the exam. Students are given tests in the middle and at the end of the course to assess their progress. Each student will have an individual counseling with his/her teachers and receive advice on how to further improve and successfully pass the JLPT exam.
